Trading safely
Spot risky tokens before you buy.
New tokens are risky. Many are scams. Thor shows warning signs, but you should always check before you buy.
What Thor checks for you
- On EVM chains, Thor runs a security check on each token. It tests whether the token can be sold (honeypot), shows buy and sell tax, and flags risky permissions. Trades on clear scams are blocked.
- In Trenches, coins carry tags such as high bundle share, insiders holding a lot, top holders owning a lot, selling pressure or thin liquidity.
Check these yourself
- Liquidity — low liquidity means big price swings and hard exits.
- Holders — if a few wallets hold most of the supply, they can dump it.
- Age and volume — very new coins with huge volume can be wash traded.
- Socials — check the website and X account are real and active.
Protect yourself
- Start small on new coins.
- Set a stop loss right after you buy, or use Auto sell.
- Keep Price impact protection on.
Warning: No check catches every scam. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
