USD Cash
One USDC wallet on Solana that trades every chain.
USD Cash is your dollar wallet in Thor. It holds USDC on Solana, and you can trade on every chain from it: Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Robinhood and Arc. One balance, in dollars, for everything.
How it works
- Trades from USD Cash pay in USDC and sell back into USDC.
- Buying on an EVM chain is a cross-chain swap: Thor bridges the USDC for you and buys the token in one step. Selling bridges it back into USDC. See Cross-chain swaps.
- You do not need SOL or ETH for gas. The network fee is paid for you and charged back in USDC in the same trade.
- Any other wallet keeps trading in its own coin, as before.
Find it
- Home and Portfolio have a USD Cash | Wallets switch at the top. USD Cash shows your USDC balance, Deposit USDC, Move to USD Cash and every position you bought from USD Cash, on any chain.
- Wallets shows USD Cash in its own card above the Solana and EVM lists, with an Active badge when you trade from it.
Make it active
Pick USD Cash in any wallet picker, or tap Make active on its card in Wallets. USD Cash then becomes your active wallet on Solana and on every EVM chain at once. Picking another wallet changes only that wallet's side, Solana or EVM.
Add money
- Open Deposit and choose USD Cash.
- Send to the Solana address: USDC, SOL, USDT or USDG, at least $1.
- Or send to the EVM address, the same on every EVM chain:

Everything you send arrives as USDC in USD Cash, usually within minutes. A progress bar shows each conversion.
Already have funds in other Thor wallets? Use Move to USD Cash.
Good to know
- USD Cash can't be renamed, deleted or exported. Money leaves it through Withdraw or Transfer.
- It doesn't count toward the 10-wallet limit, and it isn't listed in the Solana or EVM wallet lists.
- Perps and Predictions always use your own EVM wallet, not USD Cash.
- USD Cash replaces the old USDC Only Mode setting.
Warning: Always send on the right network, and only the coins listed for it. Funds sent on the wrong network can be lost.
